サントリーは、山崎蒸溜所に次ぐウイスキー生産拠点として、南アルプス甲斐駒ヶ岳のふもと、広大な自然に囲まれた場所で1973年に白州蒸溜所を開設しました。
世界でも珍しい高地に位置することから「森の蒸溜所」とも呼ばれ、水や風土などの自然条件、発酵槽や蒸溜釜など設備の違いから、山崎蒸溜所とは個性の異なる原酒を生み出しています。

ラベルに手漉きの越前和紙を採用し、“森の蒸溜所”由来の品質感を表現しました。また、ラベルの英字をブランドカラーである緑に変更し、森の爽やかさを表現。

The origin of the "Hakushu" brand born in the forest distillery
This single malt whiskey features a refreshing fresh green scent and fruit aroma with a sweet and soft smoky scent. It has a fruity and rich aftertaste.
What is the forest distilly?
Suntory was founded in 1973 in Hakushu Distillery where it was surrounded by a large amount of nature, at the base of the Southern Alps as a whiskey production hub next to the Yamazaki Distilly.
It is also known as the "Forest Distillery" because it is located in high altitudes in the world, and due to the natural conditions such as water and wind, and different facilities such as fermenters and distilleries, it produces unblended liqueur that is unique to the Yamazaki Distilly.
Package
The label is made with a hand-combed Echizen washi paper that expresses the quality of the "Forest Distillery".Also, the English letters on the label have been changed to the brand color green to express the freshness of the forest.
